    Hi Sam and Au,

Thanks for the update. This is most impressive and comprehensive.

Just to note my opinion that from the look of things, end of Sept is really a no case here as it looks like thousands of things are incomplete here.

Sam, could I suggest you put the estimated date of completion on the sidebar?

You know what, BV have a good eye for their color. Really nice shots Au.

  • Sam says:

Calvin, I have added the date of completion. I think it is good to have that, it is like a target for the developer and purchasers.

I went in a few time, seriously I think the progress looks promising as the remaining work are some quick jobs. They are going to complete those when they are about to handover the house to us, to make sure that it is in the perfect condition when we move in.

    Hi Sam & Au,

I’m one of the buyer of BV since 2006. Just realised this blog when one of my friend, another buyer shown it to me!

Bravo job! I’m kinda impressed that both of you are allowed to access to every corner and taking photos as you wished. Everytime i visited there, i was only allowed to stay at the Court 8 showunit…ahhaa

About the photos by Au today, i noticed that the description of ‘Pre-approved road going to Sun Garden through Bayan Villa.’ is not appropriate. The slope looks like it’s access to Prawn fishing place or Futsal…which is just beside the current access road, right?

Thanks for promt update and the Date of Completion. What about a ‘Countdown clock’ tick-tocking?? That will make the developer more kan cheong…ahhaaa

  • Sam says:

Rooo, I will check with Au on the description of that photo. I am new to wordpress, no idea on how to create a countdown clock, I apologize for that.

From what we have heard, it seems like the developer is stuck with the local authorities but not the construction work. The developer is seeking our help to give pressure to the authorities on the issue.

  • Au says:

    Hi Rooo (MU player?),

The pre-approved road is just next to the Futsal and Prawn Farm as in the photos.

Not sure what gonna happen to the existing road we are using now. Maybe David can put some light on this?

I naticipate it to be in Oct for the completion and CF…
    pray hard…

  • Rooo says:

    Hi Sam n Au,

Thanks for the answers….it enlighting us.

I’m not MU Player (Rooney)…hehe…juz co-incident we have same nick (i had one more ‘o’)…hehee… If u search through local photography forums, am quite a savvy forumer… hehe

Nice to talk to both of u. In future, sure i will join the activities if time allowed, must support the Buyers team mar, rite??

    Yahh…. I will pray hard too….especially for compensation……ahhhaaaa

    Hi Sam,
Great new website! though i am not sure how to
    access the password protect section.

    Hello Au,
    Thanks for the photo update!

my own opinions/comments, from time to time i tried get an update from this blog about the progress update, glad to see that now an estimate
    completion date given.

i understood how other frustrated buyers been waiting this much delayed project to handover one day, the answer still lingering around my head.

to keep it simple to myself about this concern matter, i am very assured it will be completed in delay and wont abandoned despite loads of news
heard about the developer past background and related internal affairs of it’s own.

That was like year or two ago, to date i never been
visiting the actual project site for almost 1 year period.

Pending complete it’s an issue now, after completion even more issue especially setting up the JMB.

Indeed i appreciate the developer effort to continue
till it complete and grateful that holding us close. All i can say is being glad and be thankfulness since it’s not our first response.

    Regards,
    Court 27.

P.S: countdown clock script can be googled and
use their generator to generate the script and paste
    into your blog.

  • Albert Teng says:

Hi, Sam! I’m one of the potential buyer. I went to Bayan Villa 2 weeks ago to visit the show unit. A nice girl (cann’t remember her name) brought me and my gf walked around the site and show unit. But at the end when I asked her which court still got unit unsold and the price, she told me tat she is under admin department but not sale department. She asked me visit the site again next time after make appointment with the sale department staff. I felt unhappy with her answer.

My question now is I just found out all the issue in Bayan Villa from this blog. The admin girl never told us regarding the problem facing by the developer. Is tat really the developer can deliver the house by end of September this year? How is the access road issue now? (I’m still not a buyer so cann’t read the update, am I right?) I planned to marriage with my gf end of this year, so we need a house for us after marriage. My gf and I try to make all the thing clear before we decide to buy Bayan Villa. Can you give me some opinion and info to us? Thank in advance!

  • Sam says:

Hi Albert Teng, I’m sorry that you were entertained poorly by the admin girl. But it was strange to know that there wasn’t any sales person during your visit.

Regarding Bayan Villa issues, there is only one issue remains unresolved, which is the access road. It is untrue to believe that there isn’t any access road, the fact is that we are hoping the developer can build another access road as an alternative to ease the traffic at that area. If you have a chance to meet the Bukit Ikhlas management people, please address this issue to them.

I am not from the developer, I cannot tell you when exactly the delivery is. But looking at the construction progress, it should not be a problem to have everything completed by September. CF application will take place after the completion and it is expected that the CF shall be ready within 2 weeks time.

It is a bit rush to have your house ready for your marriage by end of the year. If you were to collect your CF by September or October, it might take some time for renovation, decoration and moving in furnitures. When you are preparing your wedding, you will be busy like hell and I am doubt you have time for your new house. To be safe, reschedule your marriage if possible, probably early of year 2010 after you have done with your new house and before Chinese New Year, would be good. While waiting for your new house to ready, you can go for pre-wedding photo-shooting (one of the most time consuming and tiring, your wife-to-be definitely will go for body slimming or shaping), looking for restaurant and guests invitation, and blah blah blah, so much of work to do. Hehee, I have gone through this before, it is tiring but sweet, once in your lifetime (hopefully).
