Estimated Completion Date changed

As you can see on the sidebar, the estimated completion date has been changed from previously September 30 to October 31, 2009. Please do not worry much about the changes.

Completion date of October 31, 2009 is within the handover date as promised by Bukit Ikhlas. In the last group meeting with the management of Bukit Ikhlas, we were promised by the management that the handover is expected to be by end of year 2009. The handover by end of year 2009 is very likely to happen, according to Kenneth of Bukit Ikhlas.

Fellow purchasers need not to worry about the amendment of the completion date. September 30 was something impossible considering Bulan Puasa and Hari Raya Aidilfitri fell on that month. Moreover, the additional entrance/exit proposed and approved recently has little impact to the progress BUT fortunately, Bukit Ikhlas are still determined to make the handover by end of the year.

We are in October now, there are not much time left for Bukit Ikhlas. Mr David of Bukit Ikhlas texted me yesterday that the CF application checklist may be given to me by this Friday (October 2, 2009). I will post the checklist on this blog, and let’s witness and monitor the process of CF application of our dream house. With the checklist, I think the progress will become more visible and transparent to us, which is something good for us.

I just went to the site and took some photos, let’s view the photos:-

What we see.

The access we are using to enter to Bayan Villa currently.

The work progress on the future access road. This shows Bukit Ikhlas are progressing the work healthily. It had nothing 2 or 3 months ago, it was one big slope as if an Airbus A380 can be dumped in it. But now, it looks likely that we will have a twin double lane access road.

View on the same place, from a different angle.

I briefly illustrated a possible twin double lane access based on my own judgement on the photos. It is not confirmed by Bukit Ikhlas, I would go to them to check it out later. Anyway, I could have been wrong.

    no problem dude.

Looking at the progress of the road, I am not confident at all the completion date will be end of this month…. i wouldnt expect alot as the more I hope only equals greater disappointment…For B.Ikhlas, its always overpromise & undelivered…

  • Sam says:

    Des,
please don’t get it wrong. This access road isn’t necessary for CF, we already have one as I mentioned here. So, basically the progress of this access road will not affect the handover, no worries.

    Hi Sam ,

Have you got the CF checklist ? I am waiting impatiently .. :0

  • Sam says:

    olu albert,
I have sent the email to you.

    wayloon,
    no problem dude.

    Ryan Ho,
I have yet to get the checklist, I will call David up for it. I am getting impatient too, but it seems like impatience doesn’t help much. All we can do now is to make sure Bukit Ikhlas have carried out the work properly and on schedule. We can monitor the progress.

  • David Pung says:

    Hey Sam,

Thanks for d info. Timely and informative.

Anyway are they planning to close the wang soon road if Sun Garden is approved? or vice versa?

  • ting says:

hi, as long as they can deliver b4 end of dec09 i’ll be happy.

  • blackberry says:

hmm, i did went to the site last 2 weeks hoping to catch a glimpse of the site and snap some pictures however left my camera at home.

the roads are even messier before the photos above from sam.

  • David Pung says:

    Hi Sam,

Any news on the CF details? Thanks

  • [...] In one of the previous entry, I did mention that it looked as if we are getting a twin double-lane access road connecting to Wang Soon site. I was wrong, it has been confirmed by Mr. David that it is a one lane road for each direction instead of something like I what illustrated here. [...]

  • Sam says:

    David Pung,
they are not going to close any of the roads because it is in the Development Order when they got approval from the local councillor. The roads have to be remained open no matter what.
Regarding the CF, please read the latest entry on CF.

    ting,
they are very determined to hit this target. By putting an earlier date is to give them pressure, it doesn’t means a delay for them.

    blackberry,
I just went there again yesterday, the usual road that we used has been closed. We are using the new road now where you find it here.
