Photo update – October 24, 2009 (20 photos)

Chafoo (and his partner), Ewyong and I met at Bukit Ikhlas on the other day, we went to the site for some photo update, here it goes:-

Bayan Villa view from the current entrance or access road from Wang Soon site.

Another view of the current entrance.

The Sun Garden access road. We can see that Jia Residences is on the right side of the road, the colour scheme of Jia is very similar to Bayan Villa. Some people may mistakenly think Jia is part of Bayan Villa.

This is where the retention pond of the clubhouse is.

The sewerage treatment and disposal, and the slope connecting to Taman Universiti indah.

Can you spot the new guard-house? It is located at Court 14 an 15.

This is the incomplete new guard-house. It looks simple, but it works fine for me as long as it serves its purpose well.

Another view of the new guard-house from different angle, from Court 14.

The new guard-house from outside of Bayan Villa. We can see the road leading to Bayan Villa. Chafoo and Ewyong are under the hot sun.

We can see the roads clearly from this angle. It comes from Bukit Ciri.

The road is almost done.

One of the units which have the all the tiles been dug up. They are going to redo the tiles for quality concern, which sounds good for the owners. You do not want to dig up the tiles after you move in.

A closer view of the ‘undo’ floor.

Bukit Ikhlas painted the stairs from orange to gray. Frankly, I find orange is more pleasant to my eyes, what say you? You may check the previous colour here.

It looks as if an army camp for me, something we can see in Angkatan Tentera Malaysia camp. Are we going for a war or something?

Command and Conquer?

Let’s have something to soothe your eyes, the playground.

This is very standard for a playground.

This is to keep you healthy and looking young.

Something you will appreciate when you have kid. It is possible to barbecue in Bayan Villa and it is safe too.

Oh No!!!! The balls become green!! It sucks!!!

  • wayloon says:

Nice update, can you smell the time is almost near!!!!

  • Chafoo says:

They put some soft compound on the ball… so it is actually soft. If you bang your head towards it, it wont get hurt…. a lot. :D

  • david says:

now the staircase color looks dull….duh

  • Rooo says:

Ahhaaaaa…..there must be a new hired designer in BV. His/her colour sense is not that good…ahhaa

  • kslim88 says:

Thanks for the photo, too bad can’t joined you guys on that day…

  • Sam says:

    Rooo,
the green colour isn’t that awful in reality.
Bukit Ikhlas management changed the staircase colour because some of us apposed to orange.

    david,
I agree with you on the staircase colour. You may check here. Their architects share the same feeling as us, we find orange is a better colour roo.

    kslim88,
it is alright, we can meet again.

  • J says:

Oh, the grey stairs looks dull..and too many grey colour in bayan villa…still prefer previous orange stair.

  • yap & chua says:

our dream home is almost gone! -_-”

  • Sam says:

    yap & chua,
    Why said so?

  • chafoo says:

yup & chua, no worry, there’re only 3 stairs and honestly there’s what some of us want. If we want back amber / orange color, we’ll paint it back! :)

  • Rachel says:

What a shame! The orange stairs is something that could uplift the entire color tone of the buildings…it’s like having a tiny dot of red among the green field. Without that tiny dot, the overall could look very boring and dull.

I am surprised that the “dot” of orange has been painted to a “flat” grey. I belived B.V buyers are formed by majority of younger age buyers, we need the color tone to reflect a little bit of excitement, sophistication and of course contemporary feel. Cheng and myself talked about the orange staircases during our last visit and it deserve alot of praise from us. What a shame…

  • chafoo says:

    Rachel,

LOL you’re right. Anyway we can’t really blame anyone including developer. None of us would expect such diligent and effective respond from developer. For this, they heard some of our voices loud and clear (that the amber looks odd). Anyway I believe we can work out something on this. I’ll be one of those to do the paint job if we wish to, coloring contest.. hehe :)

  • WM says:

I preferred the orange stairs too… i also know that some people opposed to orange earlier therefore it is now Grey.

I hope the BV developer will hear us loud and clear for other things too ie the grass.

  • Sam says:

I was surprised in the first time I saw the staircase in orange colour, but I was even more surprised to see it in gray colour, a surprise in a bad way. Orange colour is favourable to me.

  • kslim88 says:

Any idea why they changed it? Orange colour more lively..

  • perrin says:

ok,i’m slightly panic. the photo where the sewerage treatment and disposal right….it’s like a PERMANENT thing right? coz i think my unit is sort of like, facing it. i mean, my unit’s kitchen faces the semi-D construction, which is on the same area as the sewerage treatment. so am i gonna be inhaling some “wangi” punya smell from the treatment & disposal when it rains or when wind blows into my unit’s direction?????

  • chafoo says:

perrin, if you are talking about the retention pond, that’s not for sewerage treatment / disposal. No worry.

  • perrin says:

    oh…icic…hak sei me. thanks chafoo!
