A brisk update – November 24, 2009
It was a sunny morning, after finished organizing the work in the my office, I headed to Bukit Ikhlas sales office as purchaser Raj was suggesting to meet up at 11am there.
I met Miss Yap of Bukit Ikhlas, we chatted about the arrival pre-maturely of my son, Hayden. When we were about to discuss about Bayan Villa issue, a man, believed to be a potential customer walked in, is interested in Bayan Villa. He had a couple of unit numbers in hands, I think he is going to buy it from one of the buyers instead of getting a new unit from Bukit Ikhlas Development. They went for site visit after that, I did not follow.
What I understood from Jonathan is very similar to what purchaser Raj and perrin told here. According to Jonathan, TNB and Telekom have done with the inspections, Bukit Ikhlas are waiting for their sokongan for CF application now. Hari Raya Haji festive period is another critical part for the developer, let’s hope the inpection work will not take long to get done.
It was such a miss not to be able to chat longer with Miss Yap on Bayan Villa issue. Purchaser Rachel called me after that, she was at Bukit Ikhlas sales office. I would love to meet her up but I couldn’t, because I was feeding Hayden at that time.

Dear all,
I’m not sure whether we all notice that starting from this Friday on 27-11-09, and except next Friday 04-12-09, all the other coming Fridays in December onwards until 01-01-10, are holidays.
By looking at the speed of inspections and CF applications as of now, it’s a great doubt that the units can be delivered by year end 2009, let alone 15-12-2009 as been targeted by BV management themselves. It’s good that BV management can now inform us of whatever outstanding matters, % of completion, target dates and possible handover date.
Further to that, don’t forget that though even when we get the CF and keys to move in, there are still numerous issues still outstanding not yet cleared and explained by BV management:
- Grass
- Covered carparks
- Road pavement
- BV club house
I hope by receving the keys, it doesnt mean that we unduly accept the UNRESOLVED ISSUES as settled.
hmmm….i’m starting to get worried about those outstanding issues… :S actually, i’m worried about a lot more. oh well, let’s see how it goes. assuming that we can get the keys by next year january, anyone here plan to move in by february or march?
I manage to move in by February.
If possible, we plan to move in before CNY (14 Feb) or else on March. Anyone from Court 19 will move in Feb/ Mac?

It was such a waste that I failed to speak longer with Ms. Yap. I wanted to ask her about the progress.
I will call Mr. David on Monday to update the progress of inspections.
About the issues listed, it is true that they remain uncleared, especially on the grass and covered carparks. Did we read an understanding on this two in the previous meeting? If I am not mistaken, Kenneth did say that they will consider about the grass if the project isn’t losing money, and they did not promise anything on the covered carpark. They did mention that it takes two days for the internal roads repavement. Bayan Villa Club House will not be ready by the handover date, but David did say that the construction of the club house takes 9 to 12 months to complete. I will address the grass and covered carpark issues to David when I call him.

Me and my wife are very keen, however David has yet to reply on what is the status for new purchasers now (since their selling license is over) Anyone here has any idea?

alamak peeps, i went to bayan today to complete my 10% downpayment and asked the sales agent about the status of the CF, and to my dismay (and as expected) he said that they have already done their part to get the CF ready but the problem now lies with the slow response from mpaj or some government bodies. so his rough estimation would be around next year january or february. looks like we won’t be moving in on feb / mar :S
