Her first visit – December 27, 2009

Ever since Abbie had Hayden in her stomach, she had not been stepping in to Bayan Villa. All this while, she learnt about Bayan Villa progress through the photos and updates here, and that’s one of the reasons why I created this blog.
Today, I took her to Bayan Villa for the first time since we are allowed to enter to the site. We went to the show units to get ideas for the renovation and decoration of our house. Also, I found that:-
- the internal roads have been fully resurfaced;
- the replacement of interlocking bricks at the main entrance (first guard house) is half done. The entrance side is done, they are replacing the exit side;
- the detention pond is full of water;
- the grass is still cow grass, sorry Au;
- the units with tiles dugged out already have new set of tiles on; and
- the secondary defence tower is done. It looks a lot better than most apartment and condominium pondok.

Thanks Sam for the update!
Yes, even i stay near to BV, but i seldom have time to visit the site. This blog has been a great help for me to monitor the updates! Bravo to Sam!
Thanks for you update, SAM.
secondary defence tower, look like bunker for me!!!
When I see my wife’s reaction, I know I have made a good choice. I can’t wait to show off my sense of design (interior) in renovationg and decorating the house.
Sam, your sense but her decision right? LOL
cant wait to see sam’s deco talent!
i just went to da site today as well to bring my parents there, they was doing road, therefore we have to walk quite a distance from detention ponds to da sale office! = =”
just went to da show room get some renovation idea too and look around, da road is resurfaced as sam said, looks like progressing good, william told me only waiting for retention pond and stp now.
just one thing my dad spotted, da fence facing da sri pinang apartment, got no pipe hole to let water come out?
btw,to add on, i also see da workers working on da stair case nearby da retention pond or was it club house, not sure, wonder where da stair case lead to?
Chafoo,
you could be right, let’s see…
Jerry Chiang,
I started subscribing some monthly-issue interior design magazines since the first time I heard the handover was soon (2 years ago, when we were with the previous management) until I could hardly find a place to store it, then I stopped. Probably those designs appear to be outdated today. I think I need to re-subscribe those to pick up some most up-to-date designs.
About the pipe holes, are you saying this part?
are you saying about the staircase which looks something like a cave-staircase? I think there is a suction pump up on top of the hill, the staircase probably is leading to the pump.
Hi Sam, yea, that is the pipe holes i mean. How come it was empty inside the fence….. the garden side is sit on concreate floor only???
Jerry Chiang,
inside the fence? Are you saying the wall underneath the garden? If yes, I think they have done the piping for water flowing before they covered it with bricks or wall. Maybe we can consult purchaser Au on this as he knows better about construction.
yaya, i mean under the garden, there is no soil, it was a curve like dat?
btw, the last i went visit again, i see there are workers fixing da fence, wonder was it broken or wat…
Jerry Chiang,
did you ask your sales representative?
