Her first visit – December 27, 2009

Ever since Abbie had Hayden in her stomach, she had not been stepping in to Bayan Villa. All this while, she learnt about Bayan Villa progress through the photos and updates here, and that’s one of the reasons why I created this blog.

Today, I took her to Bayan Villa for the first time since we are allowed to enter to the site. We went to the show units to get ideas for the renovation and decoration of our house. Also, I found that:-

the internal roads have been fully resurfaced;
the replacement of interlocking bricks at the main entrance (first guard house) is half done. The entrance side is done, they are replacing the exit side;
the detention pond is full of water;
the grass is still cow grass, sorry Au;
the units with tiles dugged out already have new set of tiles on; and
the secondary defence tower is done. It looks a lot better than most apartment and condominium pondok.

Thanks to purchaser David Blackberry for sharing the photos taken on November 27.

From the photos, we can see:-

The internal roads remain un-repaved;

The controversial wall blocking the access through Sun Garden;

The supposed-to-be a common garden but will be privately used by the type duplex owners;

The badly maintained brick walkway;

Result of underground cables lying by the TNB contractors, the management said the repavement work can be done within two days, so no rush.
